Knowing how to properly care for your suit will ensure your Bella Freud sartorial staples take you from desk to dinner, for years to come.
WEAR
We recommend wearing your suit no more than 2-3 times a week, to avoid it losing it's shape. Keep it on rotation.
Trousers wear faster than a jacket or waistcoat, so we recommend purchasing two pairs to lengthen the lifetime of your suit.
STEAMING
Always steam your tailoring, never iron. (unless advised otherwise by the care label)
No steamer? No worries. Hang your tailoring in your bathroom while you shower, the steam from the hot water will have a similar effect.
STORAGE
Use appropriate hangers for your tailoring, for example a thick wooden hanger for your jackets.
Make use of dust bags during storage to avoid unwanted creasing, dust or moth issues.
CLEANING
We suggest dry cleaning your Bella Freud tailoring every 4-6 wears. Between cleans, spot clean with a warm, damp cloth.
Brush your tailoring with a handheld suit brush before storage to remove contaminants.
