I went to a fashion show once at Mr Chow's restaurant, back in the 70's. I was a child and I was taken by my Godmother Penny Guinness. I had never seen women so exciting, using their bodies like athletes as ravishing vehicles to show how clothes could be worn with disregard for formality. I didn't really know what sexy was, but this was it. I always remember a model who looked like Marie Helvin, in a flowered dress cinched at the waist and slipping off her shoulder.
